The Asia Pacific Alcohol Policy Alliance is a network of NGOs committed to the development of effective alcohol policy in the Asia Pacific region. We aim to work with other organisations in reducing alcohol-related harm worldwide by promoting science-based policies independent of commercial interests.

Dear APAPA colleagues,

Please be informed that the Global Alcohol Policy Conference (GAPC) has been postponed to 13-15 February 2012, due to the flooding in Thailand. We hope the postponement could be an opportunity for us to communicate widely and encourage more people to come and join us in GAPC.

Confirmed speakers includes Gerard Hastings, Sally Casswell and David H. Jernigan. More speakers here. Program of the conference is being finalized now. The draft program is available here You may also learn that the local organizer have also arranged 6 field trips showcasing advocacy and community actions for the participants. It could be one of the most exciting moments of GAPC.
